How does file transfer work?
1. Drag and drop your files or click to browse
2. Click "Generate Transfer Code" to get an 8-digit code
3. Share the code with the recipient
4. The recipient enters the code to download the files directly from your device
Are my files stored on your servers?
No. ZainDesk uses peer-to-peer technology, which means files transfer directly between devices. Your files never touch our servers, ensuring maximum privacy.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no file size limit imposed by ZainDesk. However, very large files may take longer to transfer depending on your internet connection speed.
What file types can I transfer?
You can transfer any file type - documents, images, videos, archives, applications, and more. There are no restrictions on file types.
Do I need to keep my browser open?
Yes, both the sender and receiver need to keep their browser tabs open during the transfer. Since files transfer directly between devices, closing the browser will interrupt the transfer.
How long is the transfer code valid?
Transfer codes are valid for 24 hours or until the transfer is complete, whichever comes first. After that, you'll need to generate a new code.

How does screen sharing work?
1. Click "Start Sharing" and select the screen or window to share
2. Share the generated 8-digit code with the viewer
3. The viewer enters the code to see your screen in real-time
Can viewers control my screen?
No, viewers can only see your screen. They cannot control your mouse, keyboard, or interact with your computer in any way. It's view-only.
Is screen sharing recorded?
No, ZainDesk does not record screen sharing sessions. The stream goes directly from your device to the viewer's device without being stored anywhere.

ZainDesk uses WebRTC technology for peer-to-peer connections, which includes built-in encryption. Your data transfers directly between devices without passing through our servers.
Can anyone with the code access my files?

Troubleshooting
The transfer isn't working. What should I do?
